Then he said, ‘The God of our
fathers has chosen you that you
should know His will, . . . and hear
the voice of His mouth. For you will
be His witness to all men of what
you have seen and heard

He told the people of Jerusalem his story

This is the language Paul spoke to them in

“I know that my redeemer lives, and that in
the end he will stand on the earth. And after my
skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will
see God; I myself will see him with my own
eyes”

Paul was brought up at the feet of this man

This was the voice speaking to Paul

So they called them and commanded them not to speak
at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John
answered and said to them, ‘Whether it is right in the
sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you
judge. For we cannot but speak the things which
we have seen and heard’”

He is described as a devout man according to the law
