Summer Dreamers aims to provide campers with the fun of summer camp and the academic benefit of this traditionally not so fun experience.

This 7 member group has been working since March to plan and prepare for an awesome summer at each camp site!

First introduced in 2011, this event usually takes place during the second week of camp and is a favorite of campers and staff!

This organization visits camp sites weekly to do read-alouds, book give aways, and other fun activities with campers.

Sometimes used as an intervention program during the school year, this curriculum serves as the foundation for math classes at SDA.

An element of the ELA curriculum at selected grade levels, this provides an exciting opportunity for campers to showcase their improved fluency skills.

Defined as the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something, campers should have increased this about themselves at the end of their time at camp.

SDA works closely with this organization, who will be visiting camp sites in July to evaluate our program for one of their Excellence Awards!

A perennial favorite, campers learn bike maintenance, bike safety, and end with a 50+ mile ride and camping trip in this enrichment activity.
