Students in this program are placed in a customized FYS class with a faculty or staff mentor who stays with them throughout all 4 years at DSU

This could happen if a student athlete takes many classes that do not count toward his/her major

What is Financial Aid Warning/Probation
These students are at risk of losing their financial aid because they haven’t met satisfactory degree progress requirements

If a student scored below the minimum required ACT subscore in English, reading, or math—he/she is required to take one of these.
