What's That R Code? | LNP Validation Tool | VZW Resellers | SOA | LNP TNC |
---|---|---|---|---|
What is 8A
This Resolution Required Code, or R Code, means the customer provided us the incorrect Account Number for their port in request.
What is Number Location Field
This section in the LNP Validation Tool will tell us the current location of a number in our inventory – most importantly, this field tells us what Retail inventory a number is in, and if the number is in Wholesale or not.
What is the validation tool
What tool do you check immediately after receiving confirmation on a VZW reseller port?
What is False
True or False: A Port that has not confirmed yet and is in Resolution Required may have a SOA record that we need to review.
What is false- we own the call
True or False: If a customer contacts the port center or is transferred to us for an LNP TNC on their account, and the process has not even started yet, we need to transfer this call back to Customer Care
What is a 6D (if you said 6A you still get points)
This Resolution Required Code, or R Code, usually means that the number the customer is trying to port into Verizon is currently disconnected or not active with the OSP.
What is reserved
This status in the LNP Validation tool means that a number is currently pending on a switch order, a TNC, or a pending equipment order.
What is red/active
This is what color the LNP Validation Tool will reflect if a confirmed VZW Reseller port is FULLY complete.
What is Active/Pending
This NPAC Status is what you would see in SOA for a port that has confirmed, but not fully completed and moved onto our SPID yet. The customer would be experiencing Mixed Service.
What is the terms and conditions
When a TNC has been processed in ACSS and is in the switch, but there is no Port Request that has been sent yet to ICP, it means the customer has not completed this.
What is a 6B
This Resolution Required Code, or R Code, usually will tell us that the Number Transfer Pin provided by the customer is incorrect or does not match. It can also mean there is a fraud hold with the OSP that needs to clear.
What is aging status
This status in the LNP Validation Tool means that a number has been disconnected or changed, and is in a special reserve to the account it was disconnected or changed from. When a porting number is in this status in error, we contact Tier 2 for them to remove this status.
What is the due date and time
This field is especially important on a VZW Reseller because it indicates when the port will FULLY complete and disconnect with the OSP. We would never change this unless the customer advises they already have their equipment!
What is ERRORS
When handling a Failed SOA response, this option from the SOA screen is what we would click on to review more information about the error that we are experiencing.
What is processing manual consent
When the Customer is unable to go through the IVR for Terms and Conditions, we have this process available through Find Orders>Port In Orders
What is 1P
This Resolution Required Code, or R Code, is vague and is open to interpretation of Trading Partners (i.e., can mean many things)
What is Visible
TRET in the number location in the validation tool tells us they are active with
What is ZZZZZZ
Because we share the same SPID with VZW Resellers, we will see their ports in ICP along with ours. This sleepy combination of letters listed in the New SP / Old SP Columns can help us determine who’s port we are looking at.
What is OST 368805 SOA and NPAC Transactions - LNP
This OST includes all of the SOA and NPAC failure messages that we can see in Tier 1, including next steps for resolution.
