Definitely inform Phis that a Bible is part of t
he Initiation ceremony, but that they have the option of placing their hand on the Bible. Some Jewish women may be more comfortable placing their hand on an Old Testament Bible. Do not eliminate the Bible or the Scripture from the ceremony.
The bible is an important part of initiation, but not all sisters are of the christian faith, what is proper protocol before initiation to ensure the bible is used properly in Phi Mu Ritual.
