What is Atelectasis?
Collapse of normally expanded and aerated tissues. Patient presentation includes dyspnea, Tachypnea, and Cyanosis.

Signs/symptoms include: urinary frequency/urgency, nocturia, fever/chills, confusion in older adults

Progressive disease caused by lack of bone matrix remineralization that results in a softening of the bone

Common after hip replacement, fracture (long-term mobilization), SCI (spinal cord injury), burns, and amputations. |

Symptoms: fatigue, bone pain, ongoing infections, loss of bone, weakness, renal disease.
