Union, it was said that an Iron Curtain had divided Europe because the west could not really access these communist countries. Division of communist and capitalist parts of Europe.

The inner circle are the countries nearest
heart of Soviet Union/Russia. Here, it is more dangerous to be Christiand and persecution is strongest. The outer circle are communist countries that are a little bit further removed from the center of communism and as such, while there is opposition and persecution, there is more freedom and space to live and work as a believer.

He basically relies
a lot on hearing God “speaking” to him and makes decisions based on that. I argued in class that this was not a good way to operate because he ignores the counsel of others, the clear direction of circumstances, and other aspects of wise Christian decision making and makes his inner voice a final authority (essentially on par with scripture). He even at one point resorts to pointing to a passage in the Bible at random and using that to discern God’s will.
