On the day of Ekadashi, Maharaj went to the mandir and listened to the Mohandas (Mahant) speaking about why one should fast. Maharaj then began to say that, "if there is so much good in fasting then why don't people do it?"
Mahant explained that, "why should we make ourselves starve if god has given us a good life?" Ghanshyam put him in Samadhi and Mohandas saw Yam and he scolded the mahant. Mohandas awoke and promised to do ekadashi every single day.
