Mrs. Tweedy is an extremely greedy, selfish, hot-tempered, intimidating, and cold-hearted woman who only uses chickens to get money, which she and her husband are very low on. She is always looking for a chance to bully Mr. Tweedy and the chickens, and despite her nastiness, she does show cleverness at times — she is the one who comes up with the idea of buying a pie machine to use to make more profit from the chickens. She is the boss and Mr. Tweedy's wife. She is enemies with Ginger.

Babs is blissfully absent-minded, ditzy, loves knitting (she does this most of the time) and holidays, but she doesn't like gravy. She has blue bangs and wears a pink-beaded double-necklace. She is Ginger's best friend.

Mrs. Tweedy

Mr. Tweedy is ill-tempered and dominated by Mrs. Tweedy, whom he is in terror of due to her verbal abuse and sometimes physical outrages against him. There is certainly no love lost between the two of them. As a result, Mr. Tweedy was not overtly saddened upon her defeat. In fact, Mr. Tweedy was the one who pushed the door, causing it to fall on his wife, suggesting he was finally through with her. Mr. Tweedy appears to have a genuine dislike for the chickens he farms as he shouted aggressively towards the onlooking hens after he trapped Ginger in a coal bin.

Who is Bunty?
Bunty is one of Ginger's best friends. Bunty is the champion egg-layer and group cynic who is the most skeptical of Ginger's escape plans. After so many failed attempts at escape, she had a very depressing outlook on life, but she overcame this once she made it to the sanctuary.

Mr. Tweedy

Ginger has many plans for how to get past the fence and escape the chicken coop. Most of Ginger's attempts are ruined when trying to escape with her friends. Ginger longs to be successful at escaping from Tweedy's Farm and sometimes gets into trouble when she does so. She is a big dreamer, an idealist,and life on the farm hadn't crushed her spirit. She is assertive, helps the other hens as well as she can, and is totally selfless, as she could have escaped the farm on her own, yet sticks around to liberate the entire flock. She is the chicken's leader and boss.

Edwina was a character in Chicken Run. She is a white chicken with a green necklace around her neck. She was killed by Mrs. Tweedy at the beginning of the film and eaten by Mr. Tweedy, because she was no longer able to lay eggs, so she was no longer useful to their cause.

Ginger

Mac is a white, nerd and a polish-crested hen. Mac wears a plaid scarf and eyeglasses. She has an awkward grin locked on her face. Mac is one of Ginger's best friend, and offers her knowledge to her. Mac is something of a mad scientist. She is pragmatic, levelheaded, and does not scare easily. However, some of her schemes are ill-conceived, and she has poor social skills. One of her biggest issues is that she constantly uses big words that are hard to understand.

Fowler is firm but fair. He enjoys talking about his days in the Royal Air Force. He is a wise, tough-as-nails, knowledgeable, old rooster, who maintains order and discipline in the coop. He is also fatherly toward Ginger.

Mac

Rocky loves fame, respect, recognition, and attention. He has a charm that attracts many to him. Rocky also tends to sugercoat the harshness of reality, as he believes it will shatter people's wills, and tends to be rather lazy. At first, he was obnoxious, deceptive, cowardly, two-faced, big-headed, and lied if it meant he could evade life in the circus, suggesting he wasn't treated well there, such as claiming he could actually fly. He also was willing to abandon the hens at first. When he met ginger, he disliked her, getting her name wrong. Because she actually placed realistic expectations on him, he was secretly fascinated, and became attached to her over time, admiring her confidence. Due to her stern, hard to get character, rocky went to great lengths to impress her, and protect her, and despite almost abandoning the flock, he returned, and ultimately saved the entire flock. He also endangered himself, by entering the pie machine, just to save her, as ginger's noble, brave, and kind nature had rubbed off on him. He speaks with an american accent, and claims to be American, though Bunty doubted he actually came from America. He is Ginger's love interest.
