This is important because how you face it left, right, up or down is important (example: The table is over there)

This is important because it can determine whether you are asking a question or just making a statement

What is Location
Avoid making this error by remembering that most signs are made in front of your body (example: I'll see you tomorrow vs I'll see tomorrow?)

Knowing this is important because depending on where you sign can mean different signs

This affects meaning, depending how placement of hands/arms this parameter shows specific signs (example: I'm happy vs I'm enjoy?)

What is ASL is NOT English
This is apart of knowing that Sign Language is its own thing. Other forms of signing are (SEE) and (PSE) but knowing this phrase is an important concept for this class

This determines the meaning of a sign and is important because depending on how you do it, can illustrate the meaning behind what you are saying (example: I'm late vs I haven't)
