Here’s an example of a 2-way table. Determine what percent of students have passing grades?
Students with Passing grades Students with Failing grades total Band students 86 = 14 = 100 Non-band students 36 = 64 = 100
86 = Answer 86%
14 = Answer 14% 36 = Answer 36% 64 = Answer 64% |
determine the percentages of the 2 way table
High tree density
Low tree density High oxygen 211= 58= 269 Low oxygen 34= 235= 269 |
What is the r score on this graph
0.06

How can we use 2 variable statistics in real life?
We can use correlation and causation. Because we can use data that we have collected and determine if one variable is causing the other to happen. For instance, the amount of unsupervised children and the amount of car accidents has a good correlation because when children are unsupervised they make bad decisions and it could cause them to get in a car accident.
